I purchased a windshield from Windshields togo on 05/2014. Less than seven months later I started up my engine turn on the heat in my car and the glass starts to crack. at first I didn't know what to think of this. But I realized this was some sort of defective windshield. I called Windshield to about replacing the windshield, and before they knew anything about the situation they start telling me they don't honor warranties for cracked windshield.
I insist that they replace their defective product and pointed to their website that there is a warranty for defective product. they requested that I email them a picture of the windshield. The rep received the picture and claims there are impact marks all over the windshield. I disagreed with her at which we begin to debate the matter and I asked her what is her qualification as in expert in the field of impact cracks in a windshield. She states her expertise comes from replacing windshields for 15 years. After going back and forth for a few minutes the rep begins telling stop yelling and hangs up the phone.
I would like to know if anyone has experience with litigation against windshield togo. I am thinking of filing suit and would like to know if anyone else has taken such action against them.
