It's difficult to approach a refinance without a good degree of cynicism. And that was my attitude when my mother was moving forward with refinancing her home. She chose United Fund Mortgage because they offered her a great rate, and a 15-year fixed loan which frankly sounded a little too good to be true. However, I can truthfully say that Oscar and Cesar worked tirelessly to make good on their commitments and faithfully came through with a completed refinance which not only took 96 months off the original mortgage term (which was 30 years), but negotiated a payment that was a few dollars less than what we previously paid with no money out of pocket.
