Willie at Trans-king and his boys made a horrific problem theirs when I mistakenly paid a visit to my local Jiffy Lube. Jiffy Lube over tightened my transmission fill/check plug, causing a crack down the casing of the unit. This Made a huge mess underneath my vehicle with leaking transmission fluid and finally, seeing it on my new cement driveway, I found the crack. Jiffy-Lube and I agreed that Trans-King was going to fix the problem. Willie at the Arroyo Grande location took this problem head-on and within 3 days had a new/used transmission installed and had me back on the road. Not only was Trans-King's staff friendly, but they kept great communication with me throughout the whole process,... Which was a lengthy one. I noticed a sound I never had heard before after the installation of the new transmission. Willie ordered new bearings(2) for replacement of the used ones. After another install of my transmission this time with the new bearings Willie was still unhappy with the sound still being present. He then took my original transmission and had it taken to a welding shop where they where successful in sealing up the crack. Willie called with the good news and had my transmission installed, (again for the third time now!). Now my truck is a quiet drive and I am very pleased on the jobs performed and will recommend their business to anyone which is in need of automotive care. I also cant stress enough how bad Jiffy-Lube is. They lost a customer forever and Trans-King gained one! Thank you again Tans-King in Arroyo Grande, CA. My wife and I will be seeing you for future maint/ repair needs.
