Total Waste of Time and Money
My credit card was charged almost $300 on May 15 for an order I placed the day before. I received an email that the item would ship by May 22. On May 24, I contacted them to ask what the actual ship date was. Sarah with Home Shopping Malls/Totally Furniture said that the manufacturing company was experiencing delays due to limited warehouse staff but would get it out as soon as they could. No one ever answers the phone when you call, so email is the only method of communication. When I spoke to the manufacturing company directly, they told me that the issue is not with limited warehouse staff, but that the Totally Furniture website had "overpromised" the item (i.e. stated the item was in stock when it, in fact, was not). According to them, it wouldn't be ready to ship for another until 2 weeks. I contacted Sarah again and demanded a full refund, including the $40 they charged for shipping. I asked that her supervisor reply to my email. I expect that the situation will only get worse from here. I can't think of anything else to do to hold this rediculous company accountable for their actions!!
