I eventually received what I purchased but the whole experience was painful

I ended up with a really nice set of rims from this crowd but the experience was not a happy one. I paid in advance for a tire and rim package by international wire transfer. The upside is that they did eventually arrive and were pretty much as promised.
The downside was significant: 1. Although I was told the package would take about 2 weeks to arrive if the rims were in stock and 3 to 4 weeks otherwise (door to door) it actually took 15 weeks to get them. 2. Although the price seemed quite good at the time
of order there were a lot of additional charges such as shipping and handling on arrival as well as duties, etc., which were not included in the quoted price (albeit this was acknowledged up front but the scale of the additional charges were a lot larger than
expected). Consequently the package ended up being quite expensive overall. 3. Their customer service can do with a major rethink / overhaul. While they were quick to respond to my request for quotation, after the order and payment went through time seemed
to become unimportant to them. And while they regularly promised that the rims would be shipped next week and to give me updates or to send me information re what was happening with my order, it didn't happen. Yes they were polite when they dealt with me and
I was very patient and polite with them. But after 3 months or so and multiple promises being broken by them I found I had to phone them or email them 5 or 6 times just to find out what was happening with my order. It was like pulling teeth. In the end the
package arrived before I could get them to tell me when it was going to be shipped! If they kept their promises or at least were able to advise people of the progress of their order then it would save them so much hassle and time and make their customers a
lot happier. 4. The rims arrived with the incorrect wheel nuts, which meant I then had to go out and find some replacements at my own additional cost. While my rims did arrive packaged safely, and they fit my vehicle perfectly and look great, I would recommend
you purchase elsewhere, particularly if you are an international customer, unless you are up for a very long, protracted and painful experience.
