Review 12/8/2010

First, understand that I am so upset that I am trying not to swear every other word. Second, understand that I am a college student who needs every single penny that I have. In late August/early September of 2010, a nice, funny girl knocked on my door advertising magazine subscription that would earn her points to go on a trip to Europe. After giving her a check for $48 for a Rolling Stone subscription, I quickly realized how dumb it was and filled out the cancellation card. It was post marked within the time period allotted. After weeks of no communication with the company, I called and left a message asking when I could expect my refund. A day or two later I called again and spoke with a very genial woman who told me to expect it in a couple of weeks. It has been months now and not only have I not gotten my refund, but none of the contacts that I was given work. Every one of these reviews says pretty much the same thing... fake college student, fake fundraiser, fake magazine subscription, REAL MONEY SCAM. We can sit here and complain all we want, but these pathetic losers MUST PAY. Write your local news stations, contact the BBB until they are sick of hearing your voice! Sure it was only $48 but I can scammed out of, but they have scammed thousands of people! Why should their lies and deception pay off? COME ON PEOPLE LET'S MAKE SOME NOISE!!!!!
