Overpricing seems to be their specialty. I was shocked when I compared their quote for recent work at $1435 - The next place I called quoted me $700, $800 maximum. Wha the f*((
I feel "taken". In a way, you feel that since your car is there and you already owe at least $115.88 for his "troubleshooting"fee - that you can't take the car somewhere else! Yes you can.
In addition, most places, if they get the work they quote you, write off the T/S fee - not this place... add it to the quote you get....

Unfortunately when you give an estimate to a customer, it is an estimated amount, it can be more, it can be less, most places low ball their estimate to get the customer into the shop, the sad part is that you loose more business by being precise and honest with your estimate. Also, when the company investing over $50,000.00 in diagnostic equipment, you have to charge the customer for the diagnostic, the company can not afford to do it for free.
Any company that says that they can do it for free is using an low quality equipment which can not diagnose the whole entire vehicle system.
