Review 7/2/2011
I'm not sure if this company is still around, this was brought to my attention because I was informed that Netamin has created a new product called "Big League Online" roughly 9 months ago, so I shall do my best to review it after I was a paying customer for quite a few years. Netamin was supposed to be a video game company but never released an actual product. The only success I noticed was with a baseball game, and several customers paid to participate in tournaments. It didn't have a large amount of customers, but it had enough to advertise company logos and the last few months when the game was still running it had commercial video clips between the loading screens.

One thing I noticed about this company was the lack of consistency, if anything it was only good at disappearing from time to time only to return with the same product except it would have a new name. The prior products were; Ultimate Baseball Online, ESPN Spring Training, ESPN Ultimate Baseball Online, Ultimate Baseball Online 2006, and Cal Ripken's Real Baseball.

They always claimed the game was under development.

They were all essentially the same game, it was a multiplayer baseball game for the PC that was claimed to always have been in the early stages and never a finalized product. There was a time when this game had tournaments running that you paid to enter and could win cash prizes such as an iPod with your character name painted on it, another was a tournament to win PSP's, one lucky member would apparently win a trip to Las Vegas and meet Pete Rose, and the biggest prize was to have a tournament called "The Best of UBO" that offered $10,000 worth in prizes to the winning team. The big prizes never happened, instead they would often change the name of their product and shut the servers down.

The actual product they were marketing, meaning the baseball game, was never done properly and eventually the company website went down. With a bit of research it appears they abandoned the company name Netamin with "Ultimate Sports Interactive Inc." and are trying to release a new version of the game on the website playbigleague.com, but it may be a false attempt to imitate the company.

Perpaps Netamin should be researched properly to see if they're still around. I was a customer between 2005 up until 2008 when the game was shut down, between those times they charged money originally to reserve your account, as I mentioned earlier they charged a fee to participate in any tournaments, and they even attempted to charge a monthly fee to play the game at one point.
