It was my understanding that I purchased an ET-LAX100 replacement lamp, which is the lamp specified in the owner's manual for my projector. It also states on my mwave.com order: "Projector Lamp ET-LAX100 for Panasonic PT-AX100, PT-AX100u, PT-AX200, PT-AX200E, PT-AX200U, TH-AX100" This lamp is described on the mwave.com website to have a lamp life of 2000 hours. The product that I received was inferior quality (the customer service department now says that they supplied a generic lamp) and it exploded in my projector after 600 hours of use.
This company has falsely advertised that this product is an ET-LAX100 lamp. It did not say that it is an equivalent/generic or compatible part at the time of my purchase... I would not have purchased this product if it said anywhere in the details that this product was generic. I suspect that this company has recently changed the description of this product due to the complaints against it.
After several correspondences with the customer service representative I have gotten no where. I have also tried to review this product on their website to warn other customers not to purchase. They sent me an email stating that they would not post my review because it contains customer service related issues... very suspect! All I said was that the bulb exploded in my projector after 600 hours...
Mwave.com obviously does not stand by the products that it sells and
I definitely do NOT recommend buying anything from this company!
