Maids did an ok job cleaning our house. Nothing special, but not horrible either.
Was quoted a price of 90-120, but was then charged 140. Worst thing that happened was they left large scratches all over my glass shower doors. I have left messages and sent emails to have them contact me but have not heard back. I'll update this review with the results as soon as I hear from them.
Update: 10/12/2009
I have been going back and forth with the company for over a month now and they pretty much want to put the blame of the scratched doors on me. Keep in mind these are huge thick glass doors that don't scratch unless you abuse them and were brand new.
I recently sent them pictures so we'll see how that goes, but here is an actual response I received from the company:
"however let me bring up one point. Did you also consider that if you can barely see any of the alleged damages except in very specific conditions, it may in fact be normal wear and tear? For example, if you bring your brand new black car to a car wash and notice very light swirl marks in the direct sun but cannot see it under any other conditions, do you think this is considered negligent damage and the car wash should pay for a new paint job? "

MaidExperts had asked me to send proof of the damage, and that without it there would be no reimbursement. Well, I took photos which clearly showed the scratches they caused and upon recieving them the manager, Steve Yun, basically said that the pictures were no longer enough, that there was nothing more he could do and that the case would be closed. Now he no longer responds to my emails, or returns phone calls. Funny how the second he got his proof he runs and hides.
Anyhow I have filed a BBB complaint against the company and for those of you thinking about hiring MaidExperts, just please go with someone else. Take a look at the BBB website and you will see quite a few other claims/cases that were filed against them. It is just not worth it to deal with these people and risk damage to your property, there are many other maid services out there.
At this point, just out of principal and Steve's attitude, I might pursue legal action against the company. If they had simply said sorry and refunded the fee we paid for the service, all would be done, but he had to go jerk me around.
Good luck MaidExperts. I'll post an update if anything else happens.
