Loan Modification Group, working to help families modify their real estate loan, has provided poor service. We started our process in July 2009, and as of March 2010, we have received nothing for our $3,000 investment. When questioned, they say they should have cancelled our plan because we didn't do our part, however, they 'keep working' for us. They also negotiated for 5 months on the wrong piece of property, and when they were denied a modification, they resubmitted (stating as long as they resubmit they don't need to honor their guarantee). Their promise of 'referral fees of $100 each', isn't honored. Folks who work for them seem to be honest, however, I am on the third negotiator...don't know what happened to the honest ones we worked with. I have asked for a refund, but never receive a written answer. Corporate, as referred to, may call, but will never put anything in writing.
