Review 5/16/2011
|
I purchased a 1600 ma battery for my iPhone 3GS on May 02, 2011, however I was shipped a 1200 ma battery which wasn't marked 1200 ma. The Ipod Battery Depot NEVER notified me that this was a 1200 ma battery. The only way I found out it was a 1200 ma battery was when I downloaded an iPhone app and saw that this was only a 1200 ma battery. If I would have known this was a 1200 ma battery, I would have never paid to have the battery installed.
I wrote to the company and they told said they were out of the 1600 ma battery. If I wouldn't have written to them, I would have NEVER received any notice that this was a 1200 ma battery, not a 1600 ma battery.
I do understand mistakes are made, but the issue I have is the company is doing nothing to make this right. I paid 20.00 to have the battery installed thinking it was a 1600ma battery and since it wasn't, I should be reimbursed that cost and given the correct 1600 ma battery. What makes it worse is that I am going to have to pay to have the battery installed again.
I feel the company is very unfair. They made the mistake, they caused the problem, yet they are not going to rectify it.
How sad.
