I hired this company to collect some bad check (I own a check cashing business) and they did. We agreed on the amount of commission, and after a month the owner complained that it was not sufficient. He said I had taken advantage of him and that he was doing me a favor by collecting. At that point almost all the check that I had given him were still not entered into his system and I was being given no real service. I agreed to increase the commission, because I felt that was the only way that he would focus on my checks. He did not and only worked on the checks that were easier to collect.
After a few months he issued me a check for what he collected, and it came back from the bank "stop payment". I called the owner and he assured me that he would take care of it. That occurred in June and he has not taken any steps towards remedying the situation. I have been extremely flexible and told him that I was willing to take payments, and he has not paid anything.
