Disgusted!! Steer Clear. Pick another Company. After moving into a home with an inoperatrional garage door system. Golden State Door Co (GSD), sent out a representative that diagnosed that I needed a new center reel, replaced it. Then sold us two remotes. However the rep did not have the universal remotes he promised and tried to pawn off for the same price some cheap one garage door remotes. After a solid week of the garage door working. I opened the garage door. No problem. Pulled my car in. I went to close the door and it sounded like the sky was falling. Well, it was, two of the rolling bolts pdpped off the rail, hitting my car. The top fell off the rail completely. It was bad. The customer service is even worse. I called GSD Co. Do not, I repeat do not expect sympathy, respect, or help. Just to be rushed off the phone, told that only labor is covered when they are the ones that diagnosed the wrong problem. And even if your door is hanging off the hinges, if it is after 3 pm, so what. I'm exhausted dealing with this horrible company. In the end, my GSD COST ME ALOT MORE, THEN THEY ARE WORTH. A good garage door is now warped and bent and will have to be replaced. I'm done.
