Stay away from Family Legal Resources; They have their heads up their own asses.

I've read all the reviews (after hiring this company) and quite frankly I'm seeing a strong pattern here both with the reviews and how they are handling my case. I've submitted all of my paperwork and paid the $1100 in full. This included the $100 deposit to start all of this. The initial conversation helped me out greatly and made me feel secure in this decision. Renee is my case worker, and while they said it will be a few weeks before they can have the paperwork drafted, it's been 2 weeks and no word back from them. I've left a few messages but they haven't returned my call. So far they haven't warranted a bad review, but if they're going to charge me $25 a month for service fees, I think I should be entitled to a phone call from them updating me on my case at least once a week. I'm leaving this a 3 star review and will be updating the rating as my case progresses.

I sent an email on 5/31/12 asking about the status of my paperwork and on 6/1/12 I received an email that they would check into it for me. I have not received a response from them yet as to the status of my paperwork. I have subsequently sent them a reminder email about it. I have paid my account in full which was $1,100.00, so yeah, I'm a bit concerned as to the legitimacy of this organization. I'm lowering it to 2 stars simply because they do not maintain acceptable contact with thier paying customers. I want to hear someone on the phone who can answer my questions within the hour, not 1-2 business days.

Received a confirmation email that my paperwork has been completed and is being checked for accuracy. So far it has only been email contact. Even though you have to push them for a response, they are responding. So I can't fault them for no communication.

I am faulting them for no communication. They finished my paperwork on the 5th, but with multiple misspelled words, incorrectly filled out forms, and other various errors. For $1,100.00 you'd think they would double check their work. They won't respond to my emails to correct these issues on my paperwork because they are waiting for me to "submit" my paperwork "signed and notarized". This company isn't a scam, but they suck at what they do. The same reason you hire Mexicans to mow your yard, get an attorney to help you with your law needs. These people are not attorneys, do NOT hire them.
