I called them for help and spoke with the advocate they assigned me Thursday 10/6/11. He made me fill comfortable, so I decided to let them represent me with a custody dispute with my Ex. I let them charge $970 on my credit card. There was trouble getting the discovery paper work from their website over the weekend, but the following Monday 10/10/11 I received the packed via email for me to fill out so that the legal department can start my case. When I spoke to Ms. Bradley, to email me the packed, I told her about my reservations. She suggested I let my advocate know as well. I called him, but did not get an answer or a return call. I had not had a chance to fill out the paper work before; I had a family therapy session with my kids and my Ex-husband that Wednesday 10/12/11. My Ex and I agreed to halt all legal action and do what's best for the kids without getting the courts involved.
Thursday 10/13/11 I called my advocate several times but there was no answer, so and left him a couple of messages asking him to cancel my case. Since no services were provided yet, I wanted him to stop the credit card charge. I continued calling and emailing with no response. I never filled out any paper. They have my money & they won't respond to any emails or phone calls. I emailed them to cancel my subscription. Surprisingly they did comply with that.
I'm a single mom and don't have $970 and credit card fees to throw away. Since then I've emailed and called them to handle another aspect of the custody case, but they won't respond. They still have my money, I need help. I still have the emails that I sent and the call logs. I need my money to help pay the new attorney that I had to hire, because they would not respond to my request.
