Worst customer service ever for a company with such a well known and widely marketed product-the Shark Pocket Steam floor cleaner. I purchased the steam cleaner 9 months ago, and loved it. It was easy to use, cleaned my tile well and has a nice long cord. The honeymoon ended yesterday, when after turning it on, no steam - then suddenly, a loud POP, and steam poured out the seams of the water reservoir (instead of the pad where it's supposed to come out). With no manual, I had to find the company online, download their manual to get contact information and called Customer Service, who was barely understandable with a thick Indian accent. I had to repeat the same information over and over to him. He seemed to be reading off a script- Is the appliance on? (after telling him how it malfunctioned). Finally, 30 minutes later, I get the address to send it back to the company for repair, since it's under a one-year warranty, at my shipping cost both ways, slightly over $20. And it takes 4-6 weeks to get it back! First red flag: I tried to schedule the shipment online and the shipper won't accept the address given to me as a valid address. So I researched the company online and found an 800 phone #. Second red flag: No one answers the phone, there's a partial message playing with no relation to the company. Tried to use the Live Chat online with the parent company - Euro Pro, and guess what---no answer! After reading literally scores of bad reviews of this company with similiar stories, I'm not even bothering to ship it back. I'm researching for a better product with a reliable company that stands behind their product. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A SHARK FLOOR STEAMER.
