Due to a hospital-initiated change to my mother's scheduled cancer surgery, I needed to change my flight to a week later than originally booked. Because Continental will not waive the change fees and fare increases, even for medical issues, I will not be able to be with her. I am deeply disappointed in Continental's decision. As a professor who teaches business management, I will be sure to use Continental as a negative example in my classroom and dissuade any of my students from working for the airline.
