Online game money returns.

Basically, I have an online account with Sulake's online game Habbo Hotel.
I play the hotel and you can purchase credits to furnish rooms etc.
I did so, and I had a lot of moneys worth on my account, my email then account was compromised, and someone persisted to use my account to access other users accounts, which resulted in my account being banned.
I eventually retrieved my email, then spoke to Habbo Hotel regarding this ban and they are not willing to refund me or unban my account.
What would be best to do?

Your complaint is typical for this industry as online gaming companies have very strict terms and conditions regardless of the circumstances of accounts being compromised. However, did you utilize the tech support they offer online? Were they not able to resolve your concerns? If you have not been able to resolve your dispute directly with the company, I suggest you file a complaint with the BBB. You may do so at their BBB report above your question, where I've linked their report.
